United States Navy Retired 7 Perry class frigates for Philippines
U.S. Navy warships in 2014 there will be a large number of retired, sold, of which the Philippines could become 7 Used Perry class frigates buyers.
According to the U.S. Navy Times: reported that Perry class frigates to replace the United States in the 1970s developed by Knox class frigates, full load displacement of 4,100 tons, speed of more than 29, range 4500 sea miles, great emphasis on air defense and anti-submarine performance primarily responsible for the amphibious landing fleet and transport fleet escort task.
Meanwhile, the United States will also help build the South China Sea, the Philippine defense forces. Roebling said about the formation of Zhezhi defense forces will reach 'national PTU' level, saying it was 'the best design for territorial defense.'
